DJ Ray The One 

Born and living on a small island in the Caribbean named Aruba , i was raised in the Netherlands in LelyStad. 

Everything started when i was 8 my cousin in the Netherlands showed me how he did scratch a song "The Power" by Snap in 1990 and that did inspire me to become a DJ and having fun with my friend making mixtape (Bubbling) But i have left from The Netherlands 1995

I started DJ in Aruba in 1998 on a Denon Dn-2000f mk dual cd players  i have joined "Miniteca Zoblex" in 1999 where i did get more experience. In 2001 i bought my own set of Turntables Gemini Pt-2000 II .                                                                    

In 2003 i did entered a Heineken Dj contest to gain more experience and so 2005 and 2007 i was part of different DJ contests on the Island.                     

In 2004 i have joined "Swingmasterz Dj's "                                    I have been playing eversince on different radio stations on the island , night clubs , Party bus , family parties , DJ for few local artist.                                                                                                                                                                                                   In 2009 i won 2nd place in a DJ contest by Kiwanis Club.

In 2015 the singer Pitbull was coming on the island  for Aruba Summer Festival and radio station had a contest who could of make the best remix to meet and greet the artist and i did win a local press ticket.                                                                        The remix will be on the website to hear.   

Why The one ?                                          

I consider my self different i was born with my two hands but at birth there was a complication that left me with one functioning hand because the main nerve was damaged. But  that did not disturb me to conquer my dreams of becoming a DJ or do anything else.
